Sunny Priyan
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice, 1 grapefruit zest, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and a pich of salt.
Take a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mix the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well.
Stir in the grapefruit juice, zest, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. Now fold in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until combined.
Preheat the oven at 350°F (175°C). Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Let the cake cool before serving. Enjoy your refreshing grapefruit cake.
