– 1 cup almond flour – 1/2 cup all-purpose flour – 3/4 cup sugar – 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted) – 3 eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 tsp baking powder – A pinch of salt – Optional: Sliced almonds for topping
In a bowl, beat eggs, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Combine almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly fold the dry mix into the wet mixture.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan, and smooth the top. Add sliced almonds for extra crunch.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake at 160°C (320°F) for 60–75 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely. Slice and enjoy the nutty, buttery perfection of your homemade almond cake!
