To grow potatoes in a pot at home, first choose a large pot. Use light and dry soil to grow potatoes in pots.
After filling the pot with mud, add cow dung manure to it. Chemical fertilizers should not be used, even accidentally, as they can harm potato plants.
After adding mud and fertilizer to the pot, place potato seeds inside. Potato plants require 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day to thrive properly.
When the potato seeds germinate, water them daily but don't let the pot become too wet. Apart from that, continue to spray insecticides to maintain the plants disease-free.
Potatoes take 2-3 months to grow. After that, you can dig the dirt and remove the potatoes.
