A Flavourful Veggie Feast: Try The Pesto Sandwich Today

2 slices of bread, 1/4 cup pesto (store-bought or homemade), 1/4 cup sliced cucumber, 1/4 cup tomato slices, 1/4 cup shredded lettuce or spinach, 1/4 cup roasted bell peppers.

 Ingredients

Lightly toast the bread slices until golden brown for extra crunch.

Toast The Bread

Gently spread pesto on one side of each bread slice. 

Spread The Italian Sauce (Pesto)

Layer the veggies like: cucumber, tomato, lettuce (or spinach), and roasted bell peppers.

Add Veggies

Add the second slice of bread on top, pesto side down, to complete the sandwich.

Arrange The Sandwich
