Sanskrit 

Sanskrit has great cultural and historical value in India despite not being a language that is spoken here very much these days.

Kannada 

More than 43 million people, mostly in the state of Karnataka speak the Dravidian language.

Tamil which is spoken by about 77 million people worldwide is thought to be the oldest language.

Over 88 million people speak this other Dravidian language, which is mainly spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

More than 83 million people mostly in the state of Maharashtra speak in Indo Aryan Language.

Malayalam 

Over 47 million people speak the Dravidian language mostly in the state of Kerala.

Bengali 

Spoken mostly in Bangladesh and West Bengal the Indo Aryan language is spoken by about 265 million people.
