A.R Rahman A. R. Rahman is one among the other names that have helped India gain recognition. With his work on Slumdog Millionaire, the music director and performer once again created history by becoming the first Indian to win two Academy Awards. Jai Ho and Best Original Score were presented to him with awards.

Gulzar Veteran poet-lyricist Gulzar, who had won an Academy Award, added another gem to his already-adorned crown. With Rahman, the songwriter received the prize for Best Original Song for the well-known song Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire.

MM Keeravaani The talented music composer, who was considering retiring in 2015, had a powerful comeback with the RRR song Naatu Naatu after taking home large at the 2023 Golden Globes. The composer, who has also contributed to other Bollywood movies, received an Oscar for Naatu Naatu's Best Original Song.

Guneet Monga At the 95th Academy Awards, The Elephant Whisperers by Guneet Monga was named the winner in the category of Documentary Short Subject. The producer has won the coveted prize before, so this isn't the first time. Period. End of Sentence, a documentary by Guneet Monga, also took home the Oscar for Best Documentary Short Subject in 2019.
