Tulsi 

Nearly all Hindu homes have Tulsi plants. Excepts on Sunday, it is watered and worshipped every day.

Peepal 

Both Buddhism and Hinduism revere the peepal tree. Peepal trees are bodhi trees, with the symbols "Religiosa" signifying faith and "Ficus" denoting fruit.

Lord Shiva loves this plant very much. This plant's leaves are offered to the holy couple Parvati and Shiva.
