India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, has recommended several essential precautions for maintaining your vehicle's health during the summer.
Here are six guidelines for maintaining your vehicle.
Check tire pressure regularly, as high summer temperatures can affect it. Avoid overfilling; fill air according to the recommended tire pressure.
Ensure proper levels of engine oil, coolant, and brake fluid to prevent overheating. Regularly check the quality and quantity of coolant.
Check the fuel system for leaks or damage. Avoid storing flammable materials in the cabin to prevent auto-ignition.
After parking, open windows and set AC to max with the blower for 2 minutes to expel hot air and cool the cabin quickly.
Avoid parking the vehicle on tall grass or dry leaves.
Check the battery for corrosion and secure connection to prevent electrical short circuits and potential fires.
