Place ½ cup of elbow macaroni in a microwave-safe bowl.
Pour 1 cup of water into the bowl, ensuring the pasta is submerged.
Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes, stirring halfway through, until pasta is soft and water is mostly absorbed.
Stir in ¼ cup of shredded cheese and 2 tablespoons of milk into the cooked pasta.
Microwave for another 30-60 seconds until the cheese melts and creates a creamy sauce.
Stir, add salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy your quick, cheesy mac and cheese!
