Viral Video: A shocking video featuring an allegedly drunk watchman has gone viral on social media platforms. In the clip, the man can be seen sleeping inside a campus kitchen with one of his feet resting on a vessel filled with cooked rice. The incident, which reportedly occurred at a polytechnic institution in Telangana, has left netizens disgusted and stunned.
Students were shocked to find the watchman in an intoxicated state, sleeping beside the big container filled with cooked rice. Deccan Chronicle reported that other staff members at the scene tried to wake him, but he was unresponsive. The contaminated food was later discarded. Meanwhile, the students informed the food contractor about the matter.
The footage showed some portion of the cooked rice scattered on the floor, while the man lay there with one leg inside the pot. The incident prompted the Sangareddy District Collector to take action. The guard was dismissed from duty after the video went viral, reports added.
