Viral Video: A recent shocking video featuring a woman reportedly onboard an Indore–Delhi passenger train has gone viral on social media platforms. In the clip, the woman is seen smashing an air-conditioned coach train window in rage, claiming that her purse was stolen during the journey. She accused the Police of inaction while sitting in her seat with a toddler beside her, believed to be her child.
As she thrashed the window with a tray repeatedly, shards of broken glass scattered around the floor and the seat. The short clip showed her hitting the pane while some fellow travelers pleaded with her to stop doing it. According to reports, the theft took place during the trip. Frustrated by what she described as being unaided by the railway and police, the woman vented her anger by breaking the train’s windowpane.

As the video opens, a fellow passenger is heard asking the woman, “Kon le gaya purse aapka?” to which she replies, “Meko nahi pata.” (I don’t know). He next asks her why she is breaking the train’s window. The woman responds, “Mera purse do, baat khatam.” (Give me my purse, end of discussion)
Netizens React
The viral video has sparked heated discussion on social media, with many netizens condemning the woman’s action. A user said, “Absolutely ridiculous behavior. Losing a purse doesn’t give anyone the right to endanger others. Breaking an AC coach window is not just a tantrum; it’s criminal vandalism! Such acts put innocent passengers at risk and waste public money on repairs. Indian Railways must fine her heavily and blacklist her from train travel for a period. Actions like these deserve strict punishment, not sympathy.”
Another user wrote, “That’s completely wrong and dangerous. Breaking train property isn’t frustration, it’s a crime under Section 145 & 147 of the Indian Railways Act.” Meanwhile, a third user commented, “Don’t know what’s worse- damaging public property, creating a public nuisance, or destroying a child’s state of mental health with this appalling behavior…”
