A video that has been flooding all over the internet has left the viewers both in shock and awe. The video showcases a woman trying to manhandle a snake. While trying to pacify the snake, the snake pounces and leaps onto her face. The video has now become a prime example of the fact that wildlife is often untameable and may lead the courageous to extraneous dangers if they do not take caution. This video is a prime example of the fact that people in general should refrain from handling wildlife without any caution.
A courageous attempt
While the video showcases a woman handling the snake, the real reason why she had to resort to such efforts is not clear. The bystanders kept their distance, and the women we saw in the reel stepped forward and grabbed the snake by its tail. While it seems that she might have been able to tame the reptile, in a deadly fight the snake pounces at her itself.
Snake’s counterattack leaves her injured
While handling the snake, the woman’s grip gets a little loose and the snake turns around at lightning speed and pounces to leap onto her face. While the woman tries to get out of the clutches of its ferocious fangs, the snake clenches onto her face. Experts have reached and said that a snake should never be held by the tail as it leaves the head free to attack. While snakes should never be manhandled, holding it from the head—if utterly necessary—is still a better option.
A debate on social media
While some have started praising the woman’s bravery, others are mocking her ignorance and failure at protecting herself from the snake. Beyond that, several users have mocked her for catching a snake without training and how it can lead you to extensive risks.
