A disturbing clip has been circulating on social media, featuring an auto-rickshaw operator who had a close call. The video shows the quick actions and timing of the auto-rickshaw driver probably saved him from an early grave, as he inched away from the auto just moments before the large billboard smashed down on it. The driver quickly reacted and barely escaped death by nanoseconds.

Details of the Incident
The clip of the incident has gone viral across many social media platforms, and one can see in the video that a massive hoarding with a Life Insurance Corporation of India (lic) ad appeared to have fallen due to heavy rain. An auto was travelling in the same direction in which the hoarding began to tilt. The driver hit the brakes and rushed out of the auto. Just after he exited the passenger seat, the structure collapsed on the auto, completely damaging the vehicle.
Immediate Escape
The driver was mere inches from being crushed under the large structure. He narrowly escaped death and could avoid a major accident due to his quick reflexes. The hoarding was erected in the middle of the road, giving it the appearance of a gate. Another vehicle was also crushed under the hoarding, which was coming from the opposite direction.
Eyewitness Alarm
The video also shows that an eyewitness filmed the incident when the hoarding was coming down, and raised the alarm to the auto-rickshaw driver, allowing the driver to escape to safety from the auto. I am unaware of the precise location of the incident, though it is being reported the incident took place in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. However, FPJ does not vouch for the authenticity of the video.
Similar Incidents In The Past
In August, 2023, a similar hoarding collapsed in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area and it reportedly killed 17 people and injured over 75 people.
