Kolkata: Union Home Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah on Thursday launched the fifth and final phase of his party's Parivartan Yatra at Indira Maidan in South 24 Parganas district.
Amit Shah, who was on a two-day political tour of West Bengal, arrived at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at around 12:30 pm today.
After reaching Gangasagar in South 24 Parganas, Amit Shah went to Kapil Muni Ashram to pray. From there, he reached Indira Maidan and flagged off the Parivartan Yatra demanding the removal of the Trinamool Congress government led by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
