Shiv Sena dispute: Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde faction have been in tussle for a long time to retain the name and symbol of the Shiv Sena party. The Election Commission has taken a big decision over the issue on Friday. The EC has accepted the Eknath Shinde faction’s claim as the real Shiv Sena. The Shinde faction has also been allowed to use the name and symbol (Boy and Arrow) of Shiv Sena.

With this decision The Election Commission has given Uddhav Thackeray group a big shock.  The EC stated that the party’s constitution of the Thackeray faction is undemocratic.EC consider Thackeray faction a fiefdom.
