Mukesh Ambani Receives Another Death Threat In a Day, This Time Asking For Rs 200 Cr

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani received another death threat from same email account, this time demanding an increased amount.

New Delhi: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has received another death threat from the same email account, this time demanding an increased amount of Rs 200 crore due to non-response to a previous email.

In the second email, the sender expressed disappointment at the lack of response and warned that the amount had now been raised to Rs 200 crore, or else a “death warrant” would be executed.

Earlier, Ambani had received an email threatening his life if he did not pay Rs 20 crore. Mumbai police registered an FIR based on a complaint filed by his security in-charge, and it mentioned that the sender claimed to have the “best shooters in India.”

The case has been filed under IPC sections related to extortion and criminal intimidation. A manhunt is underway to apprehend the person behind these threats, but no arrests have been made yet.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis have expressed concern over the matter and have reviewed Ambani’s security arrangements with top police officials.

It is worth noting that last year, Mumbai Police arrested an individual from Bihar for making death threats to Mukesh Ambani and his family members, even threatening to blow up the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.
