New Delhi: Pakistan managed to pull off an extraordinary chase to get back at India and won by 5 wickets in the second match between the two arch-rivals in the 2022 Asia Cup. After not playing against each for almost a year, Pakistan and India faced each other on a cricket pitch for the second time in a week.

However, after the match, a video of residents from Jammu and Kashmir celebrating the victory of Pakistan is shared multiple times, including those from verified handles on Twitter.

Here are the fake videos of celebration –

The official Srinagar Police Twitter account debunked this fake video with misleading information.

Srinagar Police tweeted, “There are many fake/ old videos being shared on twitter by many handles including verified ones for sensationalism. If you live in Srinagar you will know how peaceful and calm post match atmosphere is today. It is again requested to all not to circulate such fake & old videos.”

These videos are fake and are spread with the intention of stoking hatred and confusion in society
