IPL 2025: The 2025-edition of the IPL is going to start from March 22. Before the start of season-18, fans have now got a big shock. Fans have got this big shock after JioCinema and Hotstar merged. After the merger of JioCinema and Disney + Hotstar streaming platforms, the new streaming platform JioHotstar was launched on Friday.
Spend Money To Watch The Match
According to a Reuters report, fans will be able to watch only a few minutes of the IPL match without a subscription. After the free minutes are exhausted, they will be directed to the subscription page, with plans starting at Rs 149.

JioCinema had allowed free IPL streaming since it acquired the IPL rights for five years starting 2023, although only Jio users could watch the match for free on JioCinema then. Now, from IPL 2025, fans will have to pay for a subscription based on their requirements to watch the full match.

JioHotstar Subscription Plans
There are three subscription plans available on JioHotstar. The price starts at Rs 149. This subscription will last for 3 months. Apart from this, the second subscription plan will be for Rs 299. The third subscription plan will be for Rs 499. Apart from this, subscriptions with 1 year validity are also available, which start at Rs 499. Which will work only on one mobile phone.
