Jemimah Rodrigues achieved a significant milestone in her career by scoring her first international century in India’s second ODI against Ireland. Her spectacular 102-run innings off 91 balls, including 12 boundaries, helped India set their highest-ever ODI total of 370. The knock also saw Rodrigues join an elite group of Indian players by reaching 1000 ODI runs, becoming just the tenth Indian woman to achieve this feat.

The Indian innings featured remarkable contributions from the entire top order, with Smriti Mandhana, Pratika Rawal, and Harleen Deol all scoring half-centuries. This marked a historic moment in women’s ODIs as India’s top four batters all crossed the fifty-run mark in the same innings for the first time. Mandhana and Rawal laid a solid foundation with a 156-run opening partnership, followed by a substantial 183-run stand between Rodrigues and Deol, who fell just short of her second ODI century, scoring 89.
