The India vs New Zealand second Test is underway and with the toss completed New Zealand captain won it and elected to bat first. The most exciting thing to see is that Team India went on to make three big changes in the playing XI. KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj have been made to sit out and youngsters Akashdeep and Shubman Gill have come in. Another player to make his place in the playing XI is Washington Sundar.

Akashdeep has been prolific in his last spell against Bangladesh, he can do wonders with the new ball and the the proper line and length that he has will definitely trouble the New Zealand batters. Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra are the biggest threats for Team India as they hit explosively, It is very crucial for Team India to stop the youngster Rachin Ravindra from scoring runs. Shubman Gill will be an addition to India’s batting as he has the potential to score huge runs and take away the pressure. Washington Sundar received his call-up after the first Test and the decision to bring him in the second Test comes as a surprise but his ability to bag wickets and provide breakthroughs can be very crucial for Team India.

Sarfaraz Khan has been backed by the management after he showcased his brilliant form in the first Test when he scored 150 runs. All eyes will be on Virat Kohli, the king of Test Cricket , he scored 70 runs in the second innings of first Test.

Matt Henry from New Zealand will not be playing the second Test due to a minor niggle.
