Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Saturday said that the son of the former BJP MLA’s reportedly rammed his Lamborghini Huracan into the railing of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
The person was identified as Taksheel, son of former Mira-Bhayander MLA Narendra Mehta, was driving the car towards Worli at 7.30 am.
“He lost control of the car and rammed the luxury vehicle into the railing,” said Mumbai Police.
Informing about the mishap, a senior police official said that the MLA’s son has suffered burns in his hand. “However, no one else is injured in the accident,” he said.

The Lamborghini Huracan, a high-end luxury car, comes with a hefty price tag of up to ₹3.5 crore in India.
The visuals of the accident involving this orange Lamborghini depict the severe damage inflicted upon the vehicle, with its hood and front grill ripped off due to the force of the impact.
Fortunately, the car’s safety features came into play as the airbags deployed during the collision.
The police have taken custody of the damaged car and are investigating the incident. A case of rash driving has been filed in connection with the accident.
