PhonePe has introduced a new service for its users. Now, PhonePe users can make payments abroad. Digital payment App has announced that PhonePe users will be able to make payments at international outlets in five foreign countries. The payment mechanism would be back by Unified Payment Interface (UPI) 

Payment in foreign country from Indian bank Account

In a statement, the company said that PhonePe users will be able to make payments in foreign currency directly from their Indian bank registered with PhonePe App. PhonePe has currently introduced this service in five new countries.

Which are the countries

PhonePe has launched  international payment services in UAE, Singapore, Mauritius, Nepal and Bhutan. PhonePe is the first fintech app to launch this feature outside india.

PhonePe is new solution for Foreign Currency

You must have faced the issue to have the currency of the same nation in which you are travelling in. but now Indian People can use PhonePe’s ‘UPI International’ service easily instead of currency. PhonePe CTO and co-founder Rahul Chari said that in the coming time, The international payment service will be extended to other countries as well. The company is working on plans to bring it to more countries.
