Theatrical and non-theatrical rights play a crucial role in determining a film’s budget. Now, since Part 2 of Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’ will be released on March 19, 2026, there’s already a lot of buzz surrounding it.

How many crores did the OTT deal of ‘Dhurandhar’ cost?
Recently, a source close to Bollywood Hungama revealed that Netflix reportedly acquired the streaming rights for “Dhurandhar” for Rs 130 crore, which includes not just one part, but both parts. This means the rights for Part 1 and Part 2 were sold for approximately Rs 65 crore. While OTT deals for major films are often negotiated at record prices, smaller films don’t typically earn significant revenue from OTT deals. However, this is also a major opportunity in Ranveer Singh’s career, as it is his biggest OTT deal to date.
Previously, no Ranveer Singh film has had an OTT deal at such a high price. Here is a list of Ranveer Singh’s films: 83 was sold for Rs 30 crore (Netflix) and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was acquired for Rs 80 crore (Amazon Prime Video).
