New Delhi: Parkash Singh Badal, patriarch of the Shiromani Akali Dal, was admitted to a hospital a brief fever. He was admitted to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER).

According to party leader Daljit Singh Cheema on Sunday, the 94-year-old former chief minister of Punjab was admitted to the hospital on Saturday.

The hospital is currently conducting Parkash Singh Badal’s medical examination, according to Mr. Cheema.

When he first complained of gastritis and bronchial asthma in June, the five-time chief minister was hospitalized to a private hospital in Mohali.
