Zomato Delivery Agent Reaches To Deliver In Rain And Traffic, Emotions Pour On Internet

In a video which is doing rounds on internet, a Zomato delivery agent was seen looking for his customer amid heavy rain and traffic.

It rains in Delhi-NCR quite often these days and everything stands still when clouds downpour. In a recent incident that took place on the Mehrauli-Gurugram road, a Zomato delivery agent was seen strolling here and there amid heavy rain. In his one hand was a mobile phone on which he was speaking with the customer to know his exact location, in the other one was a food parcel to be delivered.

Commuter ordered, agent delivered

Actually, vehicles got stuck in a traffic jam on the Mehrauli-Gurugram road due to heavy rain. One of the commuters placed an order on Zomato and the delivery agent drenched in rain was seen looking for him amid the chaos of vehicles and heavy downpours.

Imagine the difficulty in finding a vehicle in the crowd of hundreds of bikes and cars all stuck. To add more to the intense situation was the rain which made the visibility low.

Netizens react, emotions pour

The video of this incident was shared by an Instagram handle of ‘Delhi Visit’ which has received millions of views and reactions. Netizens strongly reacted to the video that showed the delivery agent doing his duty with utmost sincerity and still lost on the street. Users trolled the customer who ordered food in the middle of the traffic jam on the road where identifying the person becomes a herculean task.

While the customer garnered trolling, the delivery agent received all the love and praise from the netizens, many of them have tagged the Zomato handle and appealed to give him a raise for his sincerity.
