New Delhi: Xiaomi 13 and iQoo 11 launch date: Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its 13 series. It has previously set the series to launch in China on Thursday, December 1.
However, the Chinese tech giant announced on Wednesday, November 30 that the launch of the Xiaomi 13 series has been delayed.
The iQoo 11 series was supposed to launch on December 2, but now its launch has also been delayed. The two companies have not yet announced an alternate launch date for the phone. Meanwhile, Xiaomi has revealed some other specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series.
On November 30, Xiaomi shared a post on Weibo that the launch of the Xiaomi 13 series has been delayed. She did not provide any information on the reason for this delay. The company said the new launch date will be confirmed soon. The Xiaomi 13 series was supposed to launch on December 1 with MIUI 14, Xiaomi Buds 4 and Xiaomi Watch S2.
Similarly, iQoo announced on Weibo that it has delayed the launch of the iQoo 11 series, which was expected to launch on December 2. The company has scheduled a launch event on Friday, November 2 to launch a range of smartphones that will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
iQoo, like Xiaomi, has yet to reveal a new launch date for the iQoo 11 series. Meanwhile, Xiaomi has revealed more specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series. The recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will be paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 on board. These phones will run on MIUI 14, which is said to have fewer non-removable apps.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will feature a Leica-optimized Sony IMX989 1-inch main image sensor. Meanwhile, both Xiaomi 13 series phones will be equipped with a 75mm f/2.0 Leica telephoto lens.
The headphones will have a nano-leather exterior that is said to offer resistance to wear, discoloration and dirt. In addition, the Xiaomi 13 has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
