India golden boy was ranked no. 1 in the startles of the Group A and the moment he ran with his javelin in his hands, it landed at the distance of 88.39m, his third career best throw of the year. India is looking forward to Neeraj Chopra to change the history of the country at the tournament as it hasn’t been a very decorated one so far.

In the history of 39 years of WAC, India has been able to get only one medal. It was back in 2003 when Anju Bobby George had clinched a bronze medal.
