A video of a man winning a fight with his wife in the middle of the ocean last night went viral on social media. The short video, recorded by the man himself, shows him trying to resolve their previous fight in a funny way, which garnered millions of views.

While Arushi fights to control the paddle Kartik enjoys giving her a reminder of their previous fights before asking "Will you remain sad throughout our journey?" Social media observers view Kartik's move as an effective technique to extract apologies from his wife hence describing it as a "husband hack". Within her post Arushi included a personal tip to use an apology when trapped in a two-seat kayak because lifeguards are nowhere to be found.
