Why Not To Wear Shorts On Flights_ Air Hostess Reveals Dirty Secrets

Traveling by plane can be quite an adventure, especially for first-time flyers who learn many new things. However, there are many aspects of flying that people might not know. Recently, an air hostess shared some shocking secrets about flying, which you’ll definitely want to keep in mind before your next flights.

Diana Castro, a flight attendant with 16 years of experience, shared some important tips for plane passengers in a recent interview. She advised passengers to avoid putting their hand bags in the luggage compartment right away when they board the plane. Doing so blocks the aisle, which is a problem. Instead, she suggested waiting until other passengers have reached their seats before storing your luggage.

Diana also advised against rushing to get off the plane, suggesting that passengers let those in the front exit first. She mentioned that many passengers need sick bags, but some hand them directly to the flight attendant after use, which is not appropriate. Instead, she recommended placing the used sick bags under the seat.

Why one should avoid wearing shorts on flights?

Diana shared a crucial tip: avoid wearing shorts on flights due to germs on the seats that can cause problems. She also advised against touching the window glass or resting your head on it to prevent germ transfer. Additionally, she recommended using a tissue to press the toilet flush button since it’s likely to have the most germs.
