New Delhi: Hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo were stunned when a young boy told an impromptu joke about vegetarians jumping off cliffs. This moment came completely out of the blue and the producers seemed as surprised by the joke as the hosts.

The boy said: “A vegan and a vegetarian jump off a cliff to see who reaches the bottom first. Who wins?” “I don’t know,” Karl said. “Who wins?” Sarah asked. The boy answered proudly: “Society!”

Then the shocked hosts burst into laughter and told viewers: “We didn’t expect that.” Karl laughed so hard that he fell off his chair. This video has been viewed by millions of people around the world after being posted on the Today Show’s Tiktok account.

American commentator Benny Johnson called it “the greatest moment in television history” after posting it on social networks. Another person agreed and called it the “joke of the century”.
