Bengaluru: An under-construction Ejipura flyover in Bengaluru is showing as the most visited place on Google location and turned out to be a viral sensation on social media. This is a 6-year-old, unfinished project of the government.
The under-construction flyovers in Bengaluru can be found in most areas, but the Ejipura flyover appears to be the internet’s favourite. The Ejipura flyover became a viral sensation once again after it was designated as a must-see monument in Google location, a sarcastic dig at the government’s indifference to the 6-year-old unfinished project.

Caleb Friesen, a Twitter user, shared a Google landmark called ‘Stonehenge,’ which depicted the unfinished Ejipura flypast. Not only that but ‘Stonehenge’ received Google reviews from users. According to one of the reviews, “These monuments are an epitome of tourism in the most happening part of Bangalore. Must visit! Please be prepared for the huge loving crowd of people who have all come here to witness the greatness of the beautiful structures.”
I live right next to Sony signal, where the structures have been built and abandoned. The flyover was supposed to connect Ejipura and Madiwala. They have caused traffic jams everyday for the last 5 years. And still no plans to finish the project. Pathetic really.
