New Delhi: A video of an IndiGo Pilot is going viral on social media, where he can be seen giving gratitude to a Kargil war hero during an in-flight announcement. As soon as he announced that Param Veer Chakra Awardee Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar was travelling on the same flight, other passengers cheered and clapped for him.
While making the announcement the pilot said, “We have a very special person onboard today. We have Param Veer Chakra Awardee Subedar, Major Sanjay Kumar. For those who do not know what this award is, this award has been given to only 21 people in Indian history so far. It is the highest bravery and gallantry award given during wartime.”
