Philadelphia: Multiple states across the united states of America are waning into a drug apocalypse zone as people on the streets have started the intake of Tranq often referred to as the ‘zombie drug’. Videos of people injecting the drug and then being found in formidable states of being, stuck in a semi conscious state is circulating across social media platforms.
Meanwhile, it must also be known that the “zombie drug” is strong enough and is potent enough to knock out adult elephants. The drug is also having staggering impact on the physical as well as mental health of the users.
The impact of the intake is such that users can be seen standing or holding abrupt body positions in semi-conscious states for hours. Videos of many such people drooling and shaking under the impact of the ‘zombie drug’ have raided the social media platforms.
The Fentanyl crisis laid bare.
This scene filmed in Philadelphia looks like something from a zombie apocalypse.
In 2021 106,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, 67,325 of them from fentanyl. pic.twitter.com/oHXklXJ42n---Advertisement---— Gwen (@miles0a177) July 4, 2023
The use of the drugs also send the user in a state often referred to as ‘nodding out’. In such situations heads droop, eyes starts shining, they sit or stand motionless with abrupt body positions for hours. The witness to such a condition of a human being is left rattled seeing the deteriorating state of the users.
It is also an alarming situation as America has a history of being trapped in drug apocalypse. Be it opioids or be it other Schedule A drugs like heroin, cocaine and ecstacy, the Americans have witnessed anchored timelines where worsening situations induced from drug overdose has come to light in several decades in the past.
