The resources that the Turkish police have taken from criminal organizations are being used to their fullest potential. The interior ministry of the nation reports that 23 opulent cars that Istanbul police had seized had been transformed into traffic police vehicles to uphold law and order.

In compliance with a court order, the cars were turned over to the Istanbul police. Among the cars that have been modified for police usage are a Bentley, a Porsche, and a Volvo that have been painted blue and white and labeled “traffic police.” The new police vehicles are thought to be worth over $5 million on the open market.

Drug Trafficker Hakan Ayik Arrested
The Daily Telegraph claims that one of the suspected largest drug traffickers in the world, Hakan Ayik, an ex-Sydney biker, is the owner of the exotic cars that were seized. He was detained in Istanbul last month together with 36 other assistants.
Following the arrest, Turkey’s interior minister, Ali Yerlikaya, declared on X that “we will not forgive organized criminal organizations…we will dismantle organized criminal organizations of any size and bring them to justice.”
The estimated value of Ayik’s wealth is $1 billion. According to rumors, he was paying dishonest government and military officials over $1 million a month in protection money. He had been operating his business fairly openly.
