Nainital: A video of a leopard roaming freely in Uttarakhand’s Nainital is going viral on social media. In the video, the leopard is seen on an empty street of the hill station.
After a while, the animal looks at the camera and begins to walk towards the Thakur Dev Singh Bisht Campus gate.
The clip was tweeted by Indian Forest Service officer Saket Badola. The IFS officer captioned the video, “Post-dinner walk, in the city of #Nainital.”

There have been several reports of leopards wandering into residential areas. Environmentalists blame unchecked development for destroying leopards and other animal habitats.
The video has received over 18,000 views and 11,000 impressions since it was posted.
