The excitement of traveling at high speeds led to the tragic deaths of two young men from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and left three others seriously injured. The group of five youths, aged between 22 and 27, was on their way to Mumbai from Ahmedabad when their Maruti Suzuki Brezza crashed on a highway in Anand district due to excessive speed.

The devastating incident was captured on camera as the young men were live-streaming their journey on Instagram. The Instagram video, now widely circulating on social media, depicts all five youths partying inside the car, dancing to loud music, and showcasing their high-speed cruising between 140-160 km/hr to their followers.
As the video continues, the camera zooms in on the car’s speedometer, while one of the men remarks, “Look at how fast we’re going.” The thrill ride turned tragic when the SUV’s driver began dangerously overtaking trucks one after another, swiftly passing vehicles on both the right and left sides within seconds.

Suddenly, the screeching sound of brakes fills the air as the driver veers sharply to avoid an obstacle. The video abruptly cuts off with a deafening crash followed by darkness.
According to a report, the incident occurred between 3:30 and 4:30 am on May 2nd on National Highway 48.
The two individuals who tragically lost their lives were identified as Aman Mehboobbhai Sheikh and Chiragkumar K Patel, both residents of Ahmedabad. The report stated that the three other occupants of the car, all from Ahmedabad as well, sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the police have filed a case against the car’s driver, Mustafa alias Shahbad Khan Pathan, for reckless driving.
