Odisha: A video is going viral of 12 elephants that can be seen crossing the residential areas of Brajrajnagar in Odisha’s Jharsuguda. The animals often roam like this in cities in search of food and water.

The ANI tweeted the post with the caption, “Odisha: A herd of around 12 elephants was seen crossing the residential areas of Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda last night.”

In the video, a group of 12 elephants are seen crossing the street at night, and one of the residents shoots the video.

Previously, a man narrowly escaped an attack by a wild elephant in a paddy field in Assam’s Kamrup district. In a rumoured video that went viral on social media.

A user wrote, “Maybe they would come for night patrolling.” Another user who seems an animal lover writes, “It’s their area. We, humans, have captured it illegally according to Nature’s Law.” A third person writes while comparing the situation with hostel days, “Hostel boys honge pakka, going out for having Maggi, chai and sutta.”
