In the video, the couple can be seen at gate number 5 of Faridabad’s Greenfield Colony selling Rajma and Kadhi Chawal for Rs. 40 each. When asked how they started the stall, the man says, “I used to run a printing press, but it went down during the lockdown.” I then began working, but the salary was insufficient to meet the family’s daily needs. So we decided to start our own business because we knew how to cook. This stall is run by both me and my wife.”

Many business owners were even forced to look for work. This Faridabad couple was no exception. The couple used to own a printing press, but the pandemic devastated their business and forced them to close it down. When nothing else worked out, they decided to run a food stall to make a living. A video documenting their story is now gaining traction on social media and receiving numerous responses.
