The carriage was so full of sugarcane bundles that the driver’s seat had been elevated in an attempt to strike a possible balance. You can call it a tractor stunt to honour the driver on duty who is in charge of transporting the goods safely.

According to reports, the maximum height of sugarcane loaded over the body of a tractor is 3 feet, and the carrier can hold up to 18 tonnes of the product while not exceeding the maximum weight allowed on a tractor-trailer, which is 10 tonnes. However, there have been numerous reports of police seizing trucks and other vehicles carrying 28–30 tonnes of cane.

Such cases are frequently observed across the MP border and in a few other states. Earlier this year, a similar case of an overloaded sugarcane truck was registered to meet with an accident at the Tapi river in the Nandurbar district.
