Viral Video: What was supposed to be a normal train journey turned out to be an unusual moment after a thief was reportedly caught stealing phones inside a train. The viral video was recently shared on X by a user named Ghar Ke Kalesh with the caption, “Thief got caught stealing mobile phone inside Indian Railways.” As the camera rolls, a man can be seen unfolding details about the incident. He said, “we are currently travelling in the Hemkunt Express, which is going from Rishikesh to Katra. At least two or three mobile phones were stolen and the thief was caught red-handed by one of the co-passengers.

He next turned the camera towards the thief, noting that he had tied a fake turban and had fake books with him. The man added, “He is defaming Guru Sahib’s name. This sister’s phone got stolen, that brother’s phone was stolen.” Meanwhile, the thief who was seen tied with a red cloth alongside a seat in the train says, I will file a case of Manhaani.” This was followed by a verbal clash between him and the man who was shooting the video. After a while, the police arrived. The thief was seen crying in the end and slamming his head slightly against the seat’s steel pole.

Forced to be a thief.”

A section of netizens made hilarious comments on the thief’s action. A user said, “Future minister of India!” Another noted, “Women card khel rha h.” A third user said, “Ulta chor kotwal ko date,” while a fourth user wrote, “See thief is threatening other people that he will file case. Now thief know that people will not beat him because the judge and police can punish the victim. This is the main reason for an increase in crime. Just change the law that beating of thief is not an offence, all theft will stop.”
