Viral Video: Porter Delivery Guy Amused By ‘Lazy’ 2-Minute Order Within Same Society, Earns Rs 38 For The Job

A viral video shows a Porter delivery man amused by an unusual order where he had to deliver a parcel from Tower 17 to Tower 19 within the same residential society in Lucknow, a distance of just about a two-minute walk.

People around the world are using online delivery applications to make life easier due to their busy schedules. These delivery applications also offer a feature that allows users to send parcels from one place to another within a short period.

Many people use the parcel feature to send important items to friends and family without stepping outside their homes. In one such case, a man used the Porter application to send a video game from one apartment to another within the same society. The delivery boy recorded a video of the hilarious delivery, which later went viral on social media.

After he accepted the order for delivery and was on his way to deliver the parcel by walking across the complex, he humorously said, “Maje hai logon ke. matlab, itna alas. itna alas bhari huyi delivery. kher chalo, complete toh karna hi hai apan ko (People are enjoying. I mean, such laziness. Such a laziness-filled delivery. But anyway, I have to complete it)”.

At the end of the video, the delivery partner stated how much he earned for the short-distance job. He was deposited ₹38 into his account for this work. “Thank you, Chetan Shukla”, the Porter delivery app read out in its final screen of the completed order.

The parcel contained a packet with two controllers and a game. As the Porter delivery agent mentioned, “These people are so lazy.” The text overlay on the video read, “Porter mein aaya aalas ki delivery waala order.”

The post with the caption, “Lucknow ke nawab chale gaye, nawabi chhod gaye” has also garnered many reactions from the netizens, with several coming in defence.

A second commented, “Clear breach of privacy. There may be personal issues like leg injury or something else, therefore such services are utilised.”

“If I’m busy working from home and my friend needs the controllers and game, I would do the same. There is a service available – why not use it?” a second User remarked.
