Ghaziabad: A video is going viral on social media in which a man was seen spiting in the dough while making chapatis. The incident allegedly took place in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh at a dhaba (restaurant).

Taking note of the viral video, the Ghaziabad police have registered a case against the accused.

The accused has been identified as Taseeruddin a resident of Kishanganj, Bihar. As per media reports, Poonam Mishra, ACP, Sahibaba has informed that a further legal action will be taken against the accused.

An FIR has been registered under sections 269 and 270 of the Indian Penal Code. According to reports, the accused works as a cook at a hotel in the Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad.

In a similar incident, the Ghaziabad police arrested one Mohammad Mohsin in March 2021 after a video of him spitting while cooking went viral on social media.

The accused was caught red-handed. The incident is said to have taken place during the engagement ceremony near Dausa Banjarpur falling under the Bhojpur police station limits.
