Viral Video: A shocking incident recently went viral on social media after a video of a woman allegedly thrashing her husband surfaced online. The incident, which occurred in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district on 20th March, was secretly recorded by her husband, Lokesh Manjhi. The 30-year-old man who works as a loco pilot accused his wife, Harshita Raikwar, of physical assault.

Loco Pilot Secretly Records Incident

Following the disturbing event, he submitted a video proof to support his claims against her at Kotwali Police Station. In the viral video, Harshita is seen mercilessly slapping and even kicking Lokesh in his face. According to reports, the couple got married in June 2023. In his complaint, he alleged that his wife and her family members have been demanding money and jewelry after their marriage. He pleaded for help, stating, “My wife beats me. Please help me, sir.”

Kotwali Police Files Case Against Accused

Kotwali Police has registered a case against Lokesh’s wife, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law under various sections of BNS: 296, 115, and 351. He has also claimed that his wife even stopped him from talking to his parents and friends. He was quoted as saying, “My wife has even consumed mosquito repellent once. I am very scared and troubled.”

Incident Sparks Debate On Social Media

Meanwhile, another video that emerged on Thursday showed the accused woman apologizing. At the same time, the incident has sparked a debate on social media, with many netizens lashing out at the woman and expressing their anger and frustration over the surge in such cases. A user said, Thank God he recorded the incident on camera.” Another user remarked, “Men want justice.” A third user commented, “Police should take appropriate action.”
