New Delhi: A video is going viral on social media where a dog was seen consoling his owner who has been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy.
In the video, the dog was seen sitting right next to the owner and never let the latter get out of his sight. He, in fact, slept on his owner’s lap and followed him where the staff was taking him to.
The man wrote a heartfelt note dedicated to his dog telling how the dog stayed with him all the time he was in the hospital.
Brian Benson was admitted to the hospital, after experiencing chest symptoms and difficulty breathing. For three days, he was kept under close watch while the medical professionals ran tests to gauge his condition and keep an eye on his heart.

Brian Benson shared the video on his social networking account and wrote, “Thankfully, Magnus was allowed to stay with me 24/7 because he is also my service dog. He did exactly what he does best; kept me relaxed and took my mind off the current situation. He knows when to cuddle and when to get a little ‘goofy’. He made the medical staff smile and also kept my girls calm. I love this dog more than he will ever know.”
He also added, “Both of my daughters stayed with me all 3 days while I was in the hospital; making sure I was comfortable, had enough pillows and that I had yummy food to eat (because I am a huge foodie). They really stepped up and did EVERYTHING for me.”
