The most surprising part of entire news is that the 27-year-old man sold his wife's jewellery to fund the project as he made only Rs 9000 per month.

Murshidabad, West Bengal: In an unexpected turn of events, a man from Shambhunagar in Domkal municipality went viral on social media platforms for his unique innovation. Nawab Sheikh (27), who is a pool car driver by profession, created a mobile bed on wheels. However, he couldn’t enjoy the joy of his extraordinary creation as Domkal police reportedly seized his vehicle for defying the Motor Vehicles Act provisions.

According to reports, the fully functional bed cart featured a 5×7 ft mattress and pillow bed sheets. Bed Cart Took 1.5 Years To Be Built

The video video of the vehicle has been watched by millions of users as of now. Meanwhile, Nawab said that it took him more than 1.5 years to complete the project. TOI quoted him as saying, “I had just one dream — to go viral. I spent around Rs 2.15 lakh on the project, purchasing parts like an engine, steering, fuel tank, and the body of a small car from a local workshop. I also hired a carpenter to build the wooden bed structure.”

Man Sells Wife’s Jewellery To Fund The Vehicle

The most surprising part of entire news is that the 27-year-old man sold his wife’s jewellery to fund the project as he made only Rs 9000 per month. Reports revealed that he finished designing the bed cart a week before Eid on 31st March. He unveiled it on the festival day itself despite requests from Police to avoid the bustling state highway.

Police Seize Nawab’s Vehicle

However, the joy of his quirky creation was short-lived. Nawab’s Facebook account where he posted his video was blocked after a Bangladeshi media channel posted it, leading to copyright complaints. Following the incident, his wife Meher Negar said that they are all proud of him since he worked so hard. Meanwhile, she also mentioned that her husband was heartbroken after the copyright complaints and video theft. On the other hand, his vehicle was impounded as he could not provide valid documents or official permission to operate the modified vehicle on roads.
