A street vendor in Delhi has shocked the internet by creating a bizarre fusion dish: momos served in a sweet and creamy litchi gravy.

Food fusions have been popular for some time, but not all foods taste good together and some just shouldn’t be mixed. A video going viral online shows a street vendor in Delhi making something called litchi gravy momos.

If dishes like fanta Maggi, Gajar Halwa Dosa, and Chocolate Samosa weren’t already surprising enough, this vendor has taken it a step further with a mix that many people think just wasn’t needed.

In the video, the vendor starts by cooking a gravy with onion, ginger, garlic, tomato, spices, and mayonnaise. At first, it looks like it’s going to be a spicy dish. But then, he adds litchi juice to the pan, followed by cream and pieces of litchi fruit. Finally, he puts fried momos into the sweet gravy.

The video was posted on Instagram by a user named ‘bhukkad_bagh’ and has already received around 3.5 million views.
