Karnataka: A recent viral video posted on Instagram by ‘Karnataka Portfolio’ captured a scintillating moment at Bannerghatta National Park in Karnataka where a leopard surprised some passengers on the safari bus with its sudden appearance. The passengers were both shocked and surprised as the wild animal jumped onto one of the windows of the bus.
The video posted on October 7, carries the caption, “Leopard at Bannerghatta National Park recently jumped onto the window of a jungle safari bus, creating a moment of both awe and fear for the passengers inside. The wild cat’s sudden appearance startled everyone, as it leaped onto the bus window, gazing directly at the people inside. Though the glass windows ensured their safety, the close encounter left the visitors in shock and wonder, giving them a rare and thrilling experience of wildlife. This incident highlights the unpredictable nature of the jungle and the excitement that comes with a safari adventure in such a biodiverse park.

So far, the 21-second video has garnered the attention of over 60,000 viewers, with a user suggesting, “You should never open glass shutters.”
However, this isn’t the first instance when a wild cat has jumped into a safari vehicle. Last year, an IG user named Casey Cooper posted a video on the social media platform, sharing his safari experience in Serengeti National Park, Africa. The video showed a cheetah climbing up the open top of the safari vehicle. The passengers had a close encounter with the animal as the vehicle stopped and the cheetah climbed into it.
