Viral video shows Indore Constable’s fatal attempt to catch Cobra, dies after snakebite

The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The venomous snake bit the cop, Santosh Chaudhary, on his finger. 

Viral Video: In a shocking incident that took place in Indore, a police constable died while attempting to catch a snake. A clip doing the rounds on the internet shows him holding the cobra with his bare hands without any safety equipment. According to reports, the tragic incident occurred on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The deceased cop, Santosh Chaudhary, was bitten by the venomous snake on his finger.

The viral video shows him trying to suck out the poison while holding the snake. He even indicated that he is okay and there is nothing to worry about. However, he reported feeling dizzy and fell unconscious afterwards. He was later declared dead in the hospital after doctors failed to revive him.

It is common for snakes to crawl into apartments, especially in villages, during the monsoon. In a separate incident, a giant black cobra suddenly emerged from a commode. The viral clip, reportedly from Ajmer district, terrified internet users. The incident occurred on the second floor of a hotel in the pilgrimage town of Pushkar. The cobra, 4- to 5-foot-long, was seen letting out a hiss while lifting its head in the clip.
