Viral Video: A video featuring a human hand hanging from the trunk of an Innova car in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, had created a stir among netizens. In the viral clip, a local spotted a vehicle with a hand hanging outside the trunk and circulated it online. The incident, reportedly shot on Monday evening around 6.45 pm, immediately went viral after being posted on social media platforms. This prompted the Navi Mumbai police to take action.
Video Prompts Police Investigation
They immediately found the car owner based on the Innova car’s number plate within 2 hours. However, here’s the shocking twist! After interrogating him, it was found that the video was filmed to promote a laptop shop. The car spotted in the video and the vehicle from which the video was recorded were both familiar. According to police, the boys involved in the playful incident were from Mumbai and had come to Navi Mumbai to attend a marriage. The officials apprehended the boys but found no suspicious element.

Video Filmed To Make Content For Reel
It was discovered that the video was filmed for the content of a reel. The plan was to show the hand hanging from the trunk first, and then the driver should be asked to stop and open the boot. Later, when the boot is opened, the boy whose hand was seen hanging jumps out, declaring that he is not dead but alive. He then revealed, “However, listen to this amazing offer that we have on laptops.” Meanwhile, the police are taking the boy’s statement and conducting a thorough investigation.
This is, however, not the first instance where something suspicious has been done to make content for reels. Nowadays, you must have noticed a surge in such kinds of reels on your feed. People are advised to refrain from shooting such dangerous and potentially illegal acts to avoid legal consequences. A few likes and views can land you in legal trouble.
