Viral Video – Gujarati Woman Caught Red-Handed Shoplifting At US Target Store, Seen Gasping In Bodycam Footage

Viral Video: A video of an Indian woman caught shoplifting at a Target store in the United States has gone viral. In the bodycam video, the shoplifter, identified as a Gujarati woman, is seen sobbing while being interrogated by the police at the store. According to reports, the incident reportedly took place on January 15, 2025.

The now-viral video was posted on a YouTube Channel. In the clip, the woman revealed that she is a Gujarati after the cops asked her about her primary language. As she was seen choking and fumbling, the officials asked her to take a deep breath. She was also asked whether she knew the English language or would need an interpreter, to which she responded that she wouldn’t.

Investigations also revealed that the shoplifter had a driver’s license out of Washington. In the process, it was found that she was a serial shoplifter from the mentioned Target store. It was the very first time that she was stopped. News24, however, couldn’t verify the authenticity and location of the viral video.

After the investigation, the cops said that they are “letting her go” but would be charged with trespassing if she visits the particular target store again. She was also told to appear in court for the case. The incident has emerged at a time when shoplifting news can often be heard. Recently, another woman shoplifted $1300 worth of items, but after being caught red-handed, she insisted that she would pay.
